WORCESTER – The EcoTarium, a science and nature museum at 222 Harrington Way, hosts its 200th birthday celebration on Saturday, July 19, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Attendees can explore the EcoTarium museum and grounds and experience hands-on science programs and live animal encounters that will run throughout the event. Businesses and nonprofits will also have interactive tables and activities. The Explorer Express Train will also run throughout the event, as well as shows in the planetarium.
Vendors, food trucks, and the Trailhead Cafe by Garden Fresh will make food and refreshments available.
Admission to the celebration is free, but donations are welcome. No preregistration is required.
The EcoTarium will prohibit vehicle parking or drop-off at the EcoTarium location during the event. Free parking will be available at Biotech Two, at 373 Plantation St. Shuttle buses will run continuously every 10 to 20 minutes throughout the event.
