WORCESTER – The staff at the EcoTarium is hosting Oktoberfest on Friday night with craft beer, live German music and a German chicken named Gretchen.
The party starts at 5:30 PM on Oct. 21. A beverage tasting is provided by Wormtown Brewery, Redemption Rock Brewing Co. and Polar Beverages.
Staff at the popular science and nature museum will be hosting a Fermentation Station to learn about the science behind fermentation, guests can play a matching game and learn whether or not animals can get drunk, and make and decorate their own wooden glubberl.
Live music is being provided by the Schwartze Schafe German Band.
Tickets are $20 for admission and beverage tasting or $10 for admission only. EcoTarium members can get 25% off by purchasing their tickets online.
