Elvis is Worcester Police Department K9 of the Month

WORCESTER – A four-year-old Belgian Malinois named Elvis has been named the Worcester Police Department [WPD] K9 of the Month for April.

Elvis has three years of service with WPD.

On April 16, the police were called to Watt Road & Westinghouse Parkway for a report of a motor vehicle break-in.

The investigation led police to two male juveniles behind Abby Kelley High School.

Officers made a call for K9 Elvis to be brought to the scene. Elvis located the screwdriver used to perform the break-in 30 yards away from the subjects.

The two juvenile suspects were charged with Breaking and Entering (Motor Vehicle), Larceny Under $250, Trespassing and Disturbing the Peace.
