Episode 10 of Unsolved: Worcester, Part 2 of ‘The Mysterious Murder of Nereida Melendez on Graduation Day,’ Now Available

WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department released the final episode of season 1 on Thursday.

From the founder of ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “Unsolved: Worcester” is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday and Thursday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 21 minutes.


Episode 10, “The Mysterious Murder of Nereida Melendez on Graduation Day – Part 2,” exploring the murder of 17-year-old Nereida Melendez on her high school graduation day in 1989, is now available to stream on the following platforms:

Season 2 of Unsolved: Worcester is expected to be released on Thursday, Dec. 15. Episode 1 of Season 2 will explore the murder of 21-year-old Sarah Cox, found strangled to death off of Granite Street in Worcester on Dec. 3, 1967.

Each episode is accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from New England Sky Pix. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
