Episode 8 of Unsolved: Worcester, ‘Gunned Down During Worcester’s Fireworks,’ Now Available

WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department released episode 8of season 1 on Thursday.

From the founder of ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “Unsolved: Worcester” is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday and Thursday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 21 minutes.

Episode 8, “Gunned Down During Worcester’s Fireworks,” exploring the murder of Jonathan Kapulka on July 3, 2012, is now available to stream on the following platforms:

Episode 9 – part 1 of the two-part series on the murder of Nereida Melendez in June 1989 – will be available on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Each episode is accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from New England Sky Pix. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
