Episode 8 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 3, ‘William Garlick and John V.J. Joyce Went Missing in Maine,’ Now Available

WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department released episode 8 of Season 3 on Thursday.

From the founder of ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “Unsolved: Worcester” is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday and Thursday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 19 minutes.

Episode 8 of Unsolved: Worcester Season 3 shares the story of William Garlick and John V.J. Joyce, Jr. who went missing in September 1982.

The two men allegedly disappered after leaving Worcester on their way to collect a debt of $22,000 in Alton, Maine, likely running an errand to collect money owed to a Worcester-born drug kingpin.

The episode is now available to stream on the following platforms:

Unsolved: Worcester returns Tuesday, March 21 with episode 9 of Season 3 – “Baby Marlon has Gone Missing” – detailing the disappearance of 5-month-old Marlon Santos in November 1998. Marlon vanished from the home of his foster parents on Eastern Avenue.

Each episode is accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from New England Sky Pix. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
