Expanded COVID-19 Testing Coming To Worcester

Governor Charlie Baker’s office announced a partnership on Wednesday, April 22 with Quest Diagnostics and the Mass League of Community Health Centers to increase access to COVID-19 testing.

The initiative will initially increase testing capacity for twelve community health centers in Massachusetts with a commitment to add more in the future.

The Edward M Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester, at 19 Tacoma St., has been selected as one of the first twelve.

Centers in Boston, Brockton, Lowell, Quincy, Fall River and Provincetown are also included.

Since Friday, April 17, Quest has sent over 2,255 testing kits to community health centers in included cities. Another 5,000 kits will arrive at 12 additional community health centers by Friday, April 24.
