WORCESTER – Multiple agencies executed a search warrant in Worcester on Friday, leading the the arrest of a local man on several charges.
The Worcester Police, Massachusets State Police, Worcester High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) , US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Homeland Security officers executed the warrant on View Street on Friday at around 6 AM.
Inside the residence, officers located Raul Martinez, 35, of Worcester, and two handguns, and bags of what appeared to be fentanyl, heroin, xanax, and ammunition.
Martinez faces charges of:
- Trafficking in a Class A Substance (Fentanyl);
- Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute (Cocaine);
- Possession of a Class E Substance (Xanax);
- two counts of Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm without an FID Card;
- Possession of a Firearm with a Defaced Serial Number;
- Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device;
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card; and
- Improper Storage of a Firearm.
