The Worcester Firefighters’ Union held their annual food and toy drive on Monday and were able to donate 90 turkeys to the Salvation Army on Main St. in Worcester.
In addition to the turkeys, the firefighters also collected three boxes of toys, 35 family-sized boxes of Thanksgiving fixings, two hams and $3,200.
Proceeds from the drive went to the Salvation Army, the Worcester County Food Bank and Toys for Tots.
The firefighters stood outside of Stop and Shop supermarkets on Grafton St., Lincoln St. and West Boylston St. from 10 AM to 7 PM on Monday, Nov. 4.
