WORCESTER – A true crime, cold case podcast series exploring the dozens of unsolved murders and missing persons cases currently under investigation by the Worcester Police Department released its first episode on Tuesday.
From the founder of ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “Unsolved: Worcester” is a series of narrative episodes airing every Tuesday and Thursday over six 10-episode series. The episodes have an average run time of 21 minutes.

The unsolved cases featured on the podcast date as far back as the early 1950s.
The podcast is hosted by actor, stuntman, writer and director Dan Yeager. The show is being produced by ThisWeekinWorcester.com’s Pat Sargent.
Each episode will be accompanied by a video program highlighting each victim, where the murders took place or where the missing person was last seen, and other locations important to the case. The videos will feature exclusive aerial views of Worcester from New England Sky Pix. Accompanying videos will be available on the show’s website and on YouTube.
The first episode – exploring the double murder of Elizabeth Matos, 16, and William Vega, 19, on March 15, 2001 – is available on the following platforms:
Episode 2 – the double homicide of Luis Acevedo and Andrew Robinson on Halloween night in 2007 – will be available on Thursday, Oct. 20.
