WORCESTER – Police responded a report of a theft at Crompton Collective on Green St. on Tuesday, January 19, around 12:20 PM.
The investigation led police to believe that Tara Newman, 39, of Fitchburg, illegally entered Seed to Stem and stole a significant amount of merchandise.
Seed to Stem is a handmade good and natural products vendor at Crompton Collective.
After a search for Newman, police arrested her on Front St. with most of the stolen merchandise in her possession.
Newman faces the charges of:
- Breaking and Entering to during the Daytime to Commit a Felony
- Larceny in a Building
