Follo’s Food Review: The Crunchy Burger from The Fix

In this week’s edition of Follo’s Food Reviews on ThisWeekinWorcester.com, Mike dives into The Pantless Thundergoose beer and The Crunchy from The Fix Burger Bar.

The Pantless Thundergoose from Mast Landing Brewing in Westbrook, ME was the bartender’s suggestion on Mike’s “light and citrisey” beer taste. It’s an 8.3% alcohol by volume IPA with “bold notes of peach, mango and other tropical fruits.”

For his meal, Mike had The Crunchy, a burger with lettuce, fried prosciutto, parmesan crisp, potato chips, garlic mayo, mustard pickle on a sesame bun. On the side, tempura battered vegetables which Mike found “not very healthy, but delicious.” 

This week there is a lesson on aeoli and, if you are a regular viewer of Follo’s Reviews, a surprise rating from Mike on his 1-10 scale.
