In this week’s edition of Follo’s Food Reviews on ThisWeekinWorcester.com, Mike is at Tavern in the Square in Lakeway Commons at 193 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury.
Mike starts off with the Fireside Old Fashioned to drink and has their Blackened Fish Tacos for his course.
The Fireside Old Fashioned combines Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey, caramelized fig syrup, Angostura Original Bitters, orange oil and brandied cherry.
The Tavern on the Square Blackened Fish Tacos comes with jicama slaw, avocado, cilantro, mexican street corn salad, salsa and lime.

Mike was at the location in on route 9 in Shrewsbury but Tavern in the Square has nine other locations: Allston, Burlington, Cranston, Littleton, Lowell, Northborough, North Station, South Station and Wrentham.
