In this week’s edition of Follo’s Food Reviews on ThisWeekinWorcester.com, Mike tries three tacos, a ghost pepper salsa and the Mexican version of a Bloody Mary at Pepe’s Taqueria.

Pepe’s Taqueria is located at 645 Chandler St. [Tatnuck Sq.] in Worcester.
For Mike, Pepe’s Taqueria was a “flavor explosion.”
He sipped on the Michelada — a mix of tequila, tomato juice, hot sauce and lime juice — while trying out four versions of Pepe’s salsa, including one made with ghost peppers straight from Mexico.
The main course on the afternoon was three tacos — the barbacoa [shredded beef], the carne asada [steak], and the carnitas [pulled pork].
Mike said everyone at Pepe’s is “wicked nice,” the place is “wicked clean,” and on a scale of one to 10, Pepe’s is “wicked good.”
