Three Men Arrested in Blackstone for Solicitation

BLACKSTONE – Police arrested four men on Thursday, December 30, for allegedly soliciting prostitution in Blackstone.

Blackstone Police and the Blackstone Valley Drug and Counter Crimes Task Force arrested the men following an investigation and subsequent operation focused on the alleged solicitation of sexual conduct in exchange for cash using social media.

Detectives developed information regarding alleged solicitation from a previous case, according to a statement by the Blackstone Police Department.

An Uxbridge District Court judge dismissed charges against one man on December 31, following arraignment.

The other three men, John Flanagan, 60, of Cumberland, RI, Timothy McLaughlin, 55, of Blackstone, and Joseph Vieira, 65, of Seekonk each face a charge of Sexual Conduct for a fee.
