Fourth Person Charged in July 4th Bell Pond Stabbing

WORCESTER – Four individuals face charges in the stabbing of a lifeguard at Bell Pond on July 4. The 17-year-old lifeguard received treatment for his injuries at a local hospital.

Worcester District Joseph D. Early Jr. announced that Pedro Felix Camacho, 21, of Worcester, faced arraignment in Worcester Central District Court on Monday, July 12. Camacho faces charges of armed assault to murder. The judge schedule a dangerousness hearing for Camacho on Wednesday.

Camacho is the fourth individual facing charges for the incident.

Arraignment Celestine Bigirimana, 22, and Mohamed Abdullahi, 19, both of Worcester, led to dangerousness hearings, scheduled for Tuesday, July 13.

 Bigirimana faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct.

Abdullahi faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The fourth individual charged in the case is a juvenile.
