WORCESTER – The Worcester Community Action Council (WCAC) offers its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program in Worcester and Webster to households earning less than $60,000.
Limited in-person appointments are available at One Maple Place, at 18 Chestnut St. in Worcester, on Tuesdays, 4 PM – 7 PM, Wednesday 3 PM – 7 PM, Fridays 9 AM – 1 PM and Saturdays 9 AM – noon.
Those who cannot find an appointment that works for them can bring their tax documents to the same location within the above operating hours, where a staff member will make copies. After the office has copies of your documents, you can schedule a virtual appointment for free tax preparation services. Appointments in Worcester can be made here.
WCAC also offers two opportunities to bring documents to WCAC’s Head Start Center at 116 School St. in Webster, on Saturday, March 11, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, March 18, from 2 PM to 6 PM. Tax returns are prepared and submitted remotely. No appointment is necessary.
Documents must include a social security card and photo ID.
