WORCESTER – Police arrested a local man on firearms and stolen property, along with outstanding warrants, on Sunday, June 16.

Officers located Kerdinand Percy Fuentes, 32, who they knew had outstanding warrants, and tracked him to Blake Street, where police say he was at the back of an Uhaul vehicle. A motorcycle was near of the Uhaul.

According to the Worcester Police Department, when Fuentes saw a cruiser, he began walking toward Harrison Street with a shoulder strap bag. Officers called his name, and he fled and climbed to the third flood of a residence on Harrison Street.

Fuentes soon exited the building, without the shoulder bag, where police placed him in custody

Officers searched the area and found the bag on a property on Black Street. Inside the bag, officers located a loaded firearm. According to the police, Fuentes does not have an active license to carry a firearm.

Also inside the bag, police say they found a wallet with a Massachusetts identification car and a credit card both belonging to Fuentes. A set of keys were also inside the bag.

Where Fuentes was first seen on Blake Street, officers determined the motorcycle was reported stolen. The keys found in the bag fit the lock on the UHaul. Paint, tools, and parts were found inside the UHaul.

The motorcycle appeared to officers to have recently been spray painted black.
