Self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline is down four cents this week and is averaging $2.51 per gallon, according to a new survey from AAA Northeast.
Although prices are down in Massachusetts, the state’s average price remains higher than that national average of $2.47 for regular unleaded. Just last year, the average price in Massachusetts was $2.13 — 38 cents lower than this week’s average.
Prices for regular unleaded range anywhere from $2.29 to $2.79 per gallon across the state.
