WORCESTER – Good news: there’s something special to look forward to in 2021.

Specialty doughnut shop Glazy Susan and popular burger bar The Fix are collaborating in January to start the new year off right with the “Piggy Sue” burger.

Here’s what the “Piggy Sue” is: The Fix’s House Grind Burger, topped with American cheese, bacon and jalapeño jam on a Glazy Susan glazed brioche donut.

Glazy Susan co-owner Joseph Skrzek told, “We’ve been wanting to do a doughnut burger in Worcester for a while. We’ve had it in a couple other cities, so we wanted to bring it here. The Fix reached out to us before COVID about collaborating — before we opened at REIGNcafe. COVID hit and we pressed the pause button, but now we’re kicking off the new year with the “Piggy Sue” burger.”

The “Piggy Sue” will be available on New Year’s Day at The Fix Worcester location at 108 Grove St.

Here’s the catch: there’s only going to be 50 sandwiches available. So plan accordingly.  To make a reservation at The Fix in Worcester, click here.
