WORCESTER – The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Business Meeting will feature an extra-special guest this year.
Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker will address a gathering of public and private sector business professionals when he gives the meeting’s Keynote Address on Friday, Dec. 1 at the DCU Center. The meeting will wrap up a year of Chamber activities and outline its goals for the future. Over 800 are expected to attend.
Since his inauguration in Jan. 2015, Baker, an incredibly popular Republican Governor in a deeply democratic state, and has worked to make the state government friendlier and more responsive to its constituents. The Baker administration has dedicated funds to improve the public transit system and fight the opioid epidemic, for example, and increased the Earned Income Tax Credit which benefits low and middle income families.
Cost to attend is $60 per person for Chamber members and $80 for non-members. Tables of 10 are available for $575.
