Grafton Police Ask Public to Help Identify Man Wanted for Questioning

UPDATE: The Grafton Police Department announced that it has identified the individual described earlier. The department said, “It was determined the individual was searching for an Amazon package that was delivered to the wrong address. This event can be interpreted as a misunderstanding and there was no ill-intent by any involved party.”

GRAFTON – Police are asking for assistance from the public to identify a man who allegedly accosted two women near the Grafton Town Common on Thursday around 4:25 PM.

The man is described at in his early to mid-20s at around 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, with a slim build and brown, shoulder length hair. The man was wearing eyeglasses a novelty Geico t-shirt, jeans and converse sneakers. The male was also described as having a red lanyard with keys protruding from his pocket.

A witness reported a man matching this description near Cumberland Farms on Upton Street.

Grafton Police ask those with surveillance cameras in the area of the Town Common, including Upper Millbury Street, Upper Oak Street, North Street, Worcester Street, Upton Street or South Street, to review footage for a man matching this description.
