WORCESTER – The Boston-based Harpoon Brewery has created the official craft beer of the Holy Cross Crusaders, in partnership with the College of the Holy Cross.
The Harpoon x Holy Cross Hazy IPA has alcohol by volume (ABV) of 6 percent.
“As a Worcester native and grandson, husband, in-law, and father of Holy Cross Alums I could not be more excited about this collaboration,” said Harpoon CEO and co-Founder Dan Kenary. “We worked hard to come up with a great tasting beer to celebrate both on campus and when bringing the spirit of Mt. St. James on the road.”
The IPA will be first available for sale at the annual Holy Cross Kickoff Event on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 5:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public, but requires advance registration.
The beer will also be available on Saturday, Sept. 7, when Crusaders football hosts the University of New Hampshire Wildcats, at Fitton Field, starting at 2 PM.
Harpoon x Holy Cross Hazy IPA will be available in 16 oz 4-pack cans all season long in the stadium and at select retailers, bars and restaurants in the Worcester area.
The Harpoon website allows visitors to search for a location to locate its products.
