WORCESTER – Filming for a future HBO Max series was underway in downtown Worcester on Friday, October 23.
Julia, a series about the life of the star of the show The French Chef, Julia Child, filmed scenes at the Denholm Building at 484 Main St.
The leading actress who plays Child in the upcoming series, Sarah Lancashire, is a British actress well renowned in the U.K. Her accolades include a British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2014.
David Hyde Pierce plays Julia Child’s husband, Paul Child. Hyde Pierce is best known for his depiction of Dr. Niles Crane on the sitcom Frasier, for which he won four Primetime Emmy Awards.
