WORCESTER – The National Weather Service has released a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Worcester area from Friday through Wednesday warning residents of possible urban and poor drainage flooding due to a forecast of heavy rain for this weekend.

According to the NWS, there’s only a slight chance of rain and snow Friday evening into Saturday morning, but there’s a 90 percent chance of rain on Saturday evening into Sunday morning through the afternoon and ending before 4 PM.
