WORCESTER – The National Weather Service [NWS] has issued a Wind Advisory across parts of Northern, Western and Central Massachusetts, including Worcester.
According to NWS, Worcester could see gusts of winds between 5 to 15 MPH with gusts up to 45 MPH throughout the day on Wednesday until 7 PM.
The gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and tree limbs could be blown down. The winds may result in power outages.
A Wind Advisory from NWS means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 MPH are expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 MPH. NWS warns that driving could be difficult and advises motor vehicle operators to use extra caution.
