High Wind Warning Issued for Worcester County

WORCESTER – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a high wind warning for Worcester County during the afternoon of Sunday, April 12 until Monday, April 13, at 7 PM.

Winds from the coming from the south are expected to be 20 to 25 miles per hour with gusts reaching up to 65 miles per hour.

According to the NWS, these winds have potential to be dangerous and could cause blown down trees and power lines.

The warning extends from northern Connecticut to western parts of Western Massachusetts and across Worcester County into Middlesex County.
