Holy Cross Men’s Basketball earned a two point win at home on Sunday against Navy in an important Patriot League game.
Freshman guard Drew Louder hit a three-point shot with six seconds remaining to seal the game for the Crusaders.
Austin Butler, a forward in his junior year, had a season high 18 points in the win.
While this was just the second win in 15 games for the men’s team, it was also just the second in-league game of the season. With a 1-1 Patriot League record, they team’s season in-league is just getting started.

Pridgen Wins 5th Straight Rookie of the Week Honors
Freshman forward Joe Pridgen has been the breakout story so far this season. In his first game last week, a loss at Layola (M.D.), Pridgen had 26 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds. He also had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Across both games, Pridgen was 12 of 20 from the floor.
Patriot League Season Underway
The Crusaders schedule now turns to its Patriot League rivals for the remainder of the season. While it’s overall record (2-15) seems dire, the Crusaders still have 16 Patriot League games left, leaving plenty of opportunity to compete for a league championship with this young team.
