Holden Landmark Corp. Sold to GateHouse Media, Sale Includes Worcester Magazine and More

WORCESTER – On Thursday afternoon, GateHouse Media, owners of the Telegram & Gazette, announced the purchase of Holden Landmark Corporation [HLC], which includes the publications of Worcester Magazine, Leominster Champion, Baystateparent magazine, the Grafton News, and the Millbury-Sutton Chronicle.

The news of the sale comes just one day after digital and print publication the Worcester Sun announced it will temporarily cease publication.

According to a report from Worcester Magazine, Holden Landmark owner Kirk Davis — who serves as the CEO of GateHouse Media, announced the sale to all employees this morning. Additionally, T&G publisher Paul Provost will take over HLC’s publications.
