Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

This delicious recipe is from the kitchen of Erin Keating.

INGREDIENTS
  • Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • Vanilla
  • Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS
1. Make sure you take the 2 eggs and butter out early in the day, butter must be room temperature when you start baking
2. In one large bowl, add 3 cups of flour
3. 1 tbs. of baking powder
4. 1 tbs. of baking soda
5. 1 tbs. of salt
6. Mix with spoon
7. In a separate bowl, add 1 cup of sugar
8. 1 cup of light brown sugar
9. *1 stick of butter
* Slice the butter into small chunks before adding to the mix
10. Mix with mixer
11. Add 2 eggs
12. 2 tbs. of vanilla
13. Mix with mixer
14. Combine and mix with dry ingredients with mixer
15. Add the entire bag of chocolate chips and mix with mixer
16. Freeze dough for anytime between 30 minutes-2 hours.
17. Use two cookie sheets and separate into small balls of dough
18. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes
PS. Make sure Christmas music is played when baking 🙂
