WORCESTER – The winners of November’s municipal elections will be sworn in on Tuesday evening in Worcester.

The City of Worcester will be holding its inauguration and swearing in ceremony for City Council and School Committee members at 5:30 PM at Mechanics Hall.

Mayor Joseph M. Petty, who will be sworn in for the fourth time as Mayor, will be delivering an inaugural address describing his plans for the upcoming city council and school committee terms.

City Council members being sworn-in include City Councilors At-Large Morris A Bergman, Khrystian E. King, Konstantina B. Lukes, Gary Rosen, Kate Toomey and Mayor Petty.

District Councilors include Candy F. Mero-Carlson, Sarai Rivera, Sean M. Rose, George J. Russell and Matthew E. Wally.

School Committee members for the 2018-2019 term are: Dianna L. Biancheria, Dante A. Comparetto, Jack L. Foley, Molly O. McCullough, John F. Monfredo and Brian A. O’Connell.

The inauguration is free and open to the public.  There is a dinner reception following the inauguration ceremony on the second floor of Mechanics Hall; that is a ticketed event.  Tickets are $35 per person and are available at the City Clerk’s Office on the second floor of the Worcester City Hall at 455 Main Street in Worcester.
