JetBlue Suspends Service from Worcester Airport Indefinitely

WORCESTER – JetBlue’s regular flight schedule out of Worcester appears to be suspended indefinitely — marking just the latest hit to the local airport during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to passenger experience website PaxEx.Aero, JetBlue extended suspended services at seven airports, including suspending flights indefinitely from Worcester.

It had been previously reported that JetBlue would resume flights at Worcester Regional Airport this fall. However, a recent search of JetBlue’s Best Fare Finder online booking page appears to confirm PaxEx.Aero’s report and shows that flights are available from the airport for just four days between now and next June.

Those flights — to New York, Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale — are scheduled for December 18 and 23 of this year and New Year’s Day and January 4, 2021.

The JetBlue schedule lists routes from Worcester as “…only operates seasonally.”

Both JetBlue and American Airlines suspended their flights in June. Delta Airlines announced earlier this month they will suspend their flights from Worcester beginning Thursday, Oct 1.
