Rapper Joyner Lucas to Receive Key to City of Worcester

WORCESTER – Rapper Joyner Lucas is receiving a key to the City of Worcester.

The Worcester native and South High Community school graduate made the announcement on Facebook on Monday that he will be presented with a Key to the City on Tuesday, January 12.

Mayor Joe Petty will be presenting Lucas with the key at 4:30 PM at City Hall.

This past October, Lucas released the 13-track EP “Evolution” which included collaborations with The Game, Iyla, Rick Ross, Ashanti, and Elijah James.

In 2017, the video for Lucas’ hit single “I’m Not Racist” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Music Video.
