WORCESTER – Construction continues from now until April 30 as part of the Kelley Square Improvement Project.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation [MassDOT], crews will be working on Madison and Washington streets.
Construction crews will be paving the top course on Washington Street, installing decorative brick crosswalk and completing striping from Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 3:30 PM.
During the same hours, another crew will be on Madison Street cleaning sidewalks and planting trees.
On Monday, April 5, traffic signals will be activated at the Gold Street and Green Island Boulevard intersections of Madison Street.
Last month, crews installed all sidewalk furnishings and fixed any broken signs and poles. They also completed all concrete work and light pole installation in front of Polar Park.
