WORCESTER – A report from an individual that said the passenger in a vehicle pointed a firearm at them brought detectives to the area of Harrington Way on Monday, Sept. 30, leading to the arrest of one man and an ongoing search for a second suspect.
At around 10:30 PM, detectives were patrolling the area around Harrington Way and saw two men wearing all black and ski masks, matching the description provided in the report. Detectives approached the two men, who fled on foot.
Shiloh Labadie, 18, of Worcester, tripped during the pursuit, allowing a detective to see a firearm in his possession. Detectives located another firearm near the area of the pursuit, which Labadie said was his.
Detective continue to search for the second individual seen with Labadie.
Detectives arrested Labadie, who faces charges of:
- Carrying a Firearm without a License;
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm;
- Trespassing;
- Possession Of Ammunition without an FID Card; and
- Improper Storage of a Firearm.
