WORCESTER – Quinsigamond State Park in Worcester is getting an enormous upgrade next year.

The Massachusetts Dept. of Conservation and Recreation [DCR] will announce on Thursday, Sept. 27 that the park — which runs along Lake Quinsigamond and is extremely popular for its running and walking paths, its tennis courts and beach area — will receive new turf on the park’s football field and a brand new walking and running track around the field.

The DCR’s announcement and unveiling will take place at 1 PM at Lake Park, 283 Lake Ave, Worcester.
