24-Year-Old Worcester Man Arrested for Illegal Firearm

WORCESTER - Police responded to a report of a man being threatened by another man with a gun at 97 Water Street, at around 1:30 AM on Saturday, April 30,.

Officers arrived at the scene and located Michael Lavoie, 24, of Worcester, leaving the establishment. Police found Lavoie in possession of a firearm.

Lavoie did not have a license to carry a firearm.

Lavoie faces charges of:

• Assault with a Dangerous Weapon;
• Firearm Use in a Felony;
• Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
• Carrying a Firearm without a License; and
• Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
