Leaf Cleanup to Continue Friday in Webster Sq., Airport Hill Areas

WORCESTER – Snow continues to fall, but that isn’t stopping Worcester’s Department of Public Works [DPW] from completing fall leaf collection.

On Friday, trucks will be out from 7 AM to 5 PM in the areas of Webster Square, Airport Hill and Columbus Park. These will be the last neighborhoods in the City to have leaves collected for 2019. 

The City has posted No Parking Signs on the streets [see list and map below] prior to leaf collection. Residents are reminded to obey the No Parking signs.  Placing brush and branches in the public way may result in fines. 

The upcoming leaf collections are in:

  • Route 25 – bounded by Wildwood Ave., Main St., Gates Ln., Mill St. and Wescott St.
  • Route 26  – bounded by Gates Ln., Main St., Curtis St., Park Ave., Beaver Brook Pkwy., Maywood St., Lovell St. and Circuit Ave. North.
  • Route 28 – bounded by June St., Chandler St., Park Ave., Maywood St., Fairlawn Dr. and Waterford Dr.
  • Route 32 – bounded by Pleasant St., First St., Paris Ave., Swan Ave., Goddard Memorial Dr., Airport Dr. and the Leicester town line.
