Worcester Police Investigating Shooting Inside Lincoln St. Barber Shop

WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Dept. is investigating a shooting on Friday night at Wonder Cuts Barber Shop on Lincoln St. 

According to the WPD, around 8:50 PM, police were dispatched to the barber shop at 260 Lincoln St. for the report of a shooting. 

Officers found a crime scene at the barber shop and a male victim on Paine St. — just a few blocks away — suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital and his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.  

WPD Detectives are investigating the shooting and at this time they believe that this incident was not a random act.

The investigation is ongoing.
