Long-time Columnist, Reporter Dianne Williamson to Leave Telegram & Gazette

WORCESTER – After more than 35 years writing columns and reporting the news for the Telegram & Gazette, Dianne Williamson will be leaving the city’s only daily print newspaper.

In an announcement on her personal Facebook page, Williamson said she will no longer be writing for the T&G at the end of the week.

Williamson’s plan to leave comes less than a week after T&G owner GateHouse Media announced the purchase of the Holden Landmark Corp. and its entities, including Worcester Magazine.

Williamson has spent the past 25 years as a columnist for the T&G. The previous ten years, Williamson spent as a general assignment reporter.
