WORCESTER – Police responded to a reported fight and shots fired on John St. on Saturday, April 10, and were flagged down by a bystander upon arriving at the scene.
Police found both a 34-year-old man and a 32-year-old man at the scene, both with gunshot wounds, around 9:30 PM. A third man, 19-years-old, appeared to suffer from blunt force trauma related injuries.
Police provided medical assistance until EMS transported all three men to a local hospital.
Investigators determined that a physical confrontation occurred that led to the two men being shot.
A short time later detectives received notice that a man, Troy Morvan, 25, of Worcester, arrived at a local hospital with injuries consistent with being in a physical confrontation.
The investigation led to the arrest of Morvan, who faces the following charges:
- Armed Assault to Murder (two counts)
- Use of a Firearm while Committing a Felony
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Discharge of a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling
