WORCESTER – Worcester Police Vice Squad served a search warrant on Stanton St. on Tuesday, February 23, leading to the arrest of a man on drug charges.
When officers arrived near the residence they observed Bruce Reid, 59, of Worcester, the person named in the warrant, on Vinson St. near Stanton St.
Police detained Reid after he attempted to flee and resisted officers. Officers discovered what they believe to be cocaine from the suspect.
During the search of the residence, officers located additional packages of what they suspect was cocaine, packaging materials, scales, and other materials consistent with drug distribution.
Reid faces charges of Possession of a Class B Substance with intent to Distribute (2nd or subsequent offense) and Resisting Arrest.
