WORCESTER – A rollover crash early Tuesday morning in Auburn has claimed the life of 28-year-old Carlos Mendoza of Worcester.
According to the Massachusetts State Police [MSP], the crash occurred around 12:55 AM. Mendzoa was traveling on an on-ramp from I-90 Eastbound to Rt. 290 Eastbound in a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder. For reasons still under investigation, Mendoza lost control of the vehicle causing it to rollover and crash.
Mendoza was transported to UMass Memorial Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The cause of this crash remains under investigation with assistance from the MSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section. State Police were assisted on scene by Auburn Fire and EMS.
