WORCESTER – The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission issued a public health and safety advisory for potentially contaminated marijuana flower and products.

The commission urges consumers and patients to check the labels of any marijuana products in their possession for products tested between April 1 and April 15, 2025.

On June 30, the commission issued an order to suspend the license it issued to Assured Testing Laboratories, LLC, and independent testing laboratory. The commission said the company “established a pattern of failing to accurately report Total Yeast and Mold test results to the Commission and in the Seed-to-Sale System of Record.”

The commission also said it “identified 544 lab samples that previously failed Total Yeast and Mold testing.”

Each marijuana product legally sold in Massachusetts must have labels. Each label must include the date tested, batch number, and other information.

The commission’s website has all products listed for which it issued warnings or advisories.
