UXBRIDGE – A traffic advisory warns drivers of delays and traffic pattern changes on Route 16 (Douglas Street), around the Route 146 overpass, starting on Saturday, May 21. Drivers using exit 6 from Route 146 may also be impacted.
MassDOT will begin a long-term project over the weekend on two traffic circles in the area. Machinery should be expected in and around the roadway to facilitate the work needed for the project.
MassDOT’s schedule for completing the full project is October 2023.
