Massachusetts has launched a new text-based notification system to deliver information to residents about COVID-19.
You can sign up for the system — AlertsMA — by texting COVIDMA to “888-777.”
The AlertsMA service allows state and public health officials to send short messages and links. Residents can expect news, prevention information and information of interest related to COVID-19.
Information is also available through the state’s information line by dialing 2-1-1. Further information is available on he state’s website: Mass.gov.
