WORCESTER - The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) and JetBlue Airways are teaming up to give two educators in the Worcester area a pair of round trip tickets to any city JetBlue services.
The Education Vacation Sweepstakes is open to current educators teaching at accredited elementary, middle and high schools as well as colleges in Worcester and surrounding areas within a 30-mile radius of Worcester Regional Airport. A list of locations an eligible educator must teach in is below.
“Educators are such valuable members of our communities and here in Central Massachusetts, we wanted to pay tribute to our teachers in a special way,” said Worcester Regional Airport Director Andy Davis. “Through this sweepstakes, we can provide local educators an opportunity to travel and explore the world. We encourage students, educators and faculty to fly Worcester as an affordable option whether they are planning for summer vacation or a trip any time of year.”
The entry period ends on April 20. The tickets will be awarded on National Teachers' Appreciation Day, May 2, 2023.
