WORCESTER – Believe it or not, you can start your New Year’s resolutions at The Hangover Pub in Worcester.

The bacon-gastro pub on Green St. in the city’s Canal District is offering meal prep services as part of its strategy to generate business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Owner Michael Arrastia told ThisWeekinWorcester.com, “…This was a smart way [to make money] and it will help people reach their health goals. People aren’t coming out, so I needed to expand my thinking with more of the population.”

The meals include options of a protein [chicken, steak or haddock], a vegetable [broccoli or brussels sprouts] and a starch [brown rice, sweet potato or jasmine rice].

The meals can be ordered each week by 8 PM on Tuesdays and are available to be picked up on Wednesdays. Orders can be placed on The Hangover Pub’s website.

Arrastia is currently training for a Strongman competition in June 2021. Working with his training partner Matt LeBlanc, the pair decided it was beneficial for their own training and to get people interested in meal preparation.

So far, Arrastia says the response has been great and he has meal prep customers at three gyms and other people just looking to start eating healthy.
