Milford Man Arraigned for Missing Youth Organization Funds

WORCESTER – The former treasurer of the Milford Youth Football and Cheer Organization faced arraignment on Wednesday, February 17, on charges of taking approximately $280,000 from the organization, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Gregory Pearl, 49, of Milford, pleaded not guilty to larceny over $1,200 by continuous scheme and making false entries in a corporate book with intent to defraud.

Pearl was treasurer of the Milford Youth Football and Cheer Organization from 2013 to 2018.

The judge release Pearl on personal recognizance.

The investigation by Milford Police into the Milford Youth Football and Cheer Organization began in April 2019. Board members reported that more than $280,000 was missing from its account. They also reported the presentation of false bank records.
