Worcester Ranked in Top 50 Most-Stressed Cities in America

Does COVID-19 have you feeling a bit stressed out lately?

According to the data experts at WalletHub, nearly four in 10 Americans experiencing significant stress due to COVID-19.

On Monday, WalletHub released their report on 2020’s Most & Least Stressed Cities in America.

In order to determine where Americans cope best with their stress, WalletHub compared more than 180 cities across 42 key metrics. The data set ranges from how vulnerable the state is to COVID-19 to average weekly work hours to divorce and suicide rates.

Of the 182 cities studied, Worcester ranked #49 overall for stress related to work, finances, family and health. Among New England cities, Worcester was the fourth-most stressed out, behind only Bridgeport, New Haven and Providence.
